    The aim of this paper was to inform russian specialists on preschool aged children's physical education about the main tendencies and conceptions of physical education's theory and practice development in connection with the peculiarities of that age and pedagogical traditions in different foreign countries. The majority of foreign specialists consider that the physical education's purpose in preschool childhood must help psychomotorical, mental, physical and emotional development of children. Some of abroad conceptions take into consideraton the necessity of social qualities' and sports interests' motivations formation. The game is considered as the base of physical education at this period of individual development in men. There are different national systems of physical fittness standards for under school aged children, as well as the various forms of their physical education's organization. The training of educators for under school aged children's physical education carries out in special training institutions or at the faculties of the higher pedagogical institutions or special colleges and pedagogical seminaries.
