    The purpose of this paper was the scientific substantiation of the resources of sports-focused physical education for the formation of pupils' Olympic culture. Pupils, with the help sports-focused physical education, understand those aspects of sports training, which form personal culture of an athlete and are one of the highest achievements of sports and the Olympic culture. The sports-focused physical education acts not in the role of "distracting" from "bad things" and harmful habits factor. It forms the physical and Olympic culture of the personality that is not "distracting", but the most powerful counterbalance to the negative influence of an environment to children and teenagers. Thus, the serious alternative of much more attractive use a free time is offered for children by the developers of the sport-focused physical education. This is apparent from the results presented in the article.
