The national game is the historically developed public phenomenon, the independent kind of the activity peculiar to nationalities and regions. The Russian national games are very diverse: children's games, desktop games, roundelay's games for adults with national songs, humourous catchphrases, dancings. The games always served as the mean of self-knowledge and showing of the better qualities: a kindness, a nobleness, a mutual assistance, a self-sacrifice for the sake of others. The adults took part in games of children after the heavy day of work with pleasure, training them, as it is necessary to have the good time and the rest. The component directed on spiritual perfection of the personality of the pupil of an elementary school, expansion of his (her) historical-cultural outlook and the increase of the level of the national consciousness comes to light at the modelling of the updated paradigm of the pedagogical classification of the Russian national games.
