    The purpose of this study was to develop the technology of activization of educational-cognitive activity at lessons. This technology must be based on the complex of modern resources and methods of training purposeful applying. The authors offers the experimental teaching program of the general course of basketball including: 1) Lecture course; 2) Training using the competitive and playing methods; 3) Control-training tasks; 4) Knowledge quality surveillance on the basis of testing. The application of the given technology has increased the efficiency of training process.
