The question of cleanliness in sports became especially urgent in the last years, as the victory in the largest international competitions not only brings popularity to an athlete, to his club, federation, country, but promises the significant financial benefits also. The sportsmen and their environment in such conditions aspire to a victory at any cost consciously break the established rules sometimes. The IOC undertakes the significant efforts for not to admit the deceit. It has entered the drug-control on the Olympic games since 1968th and for a long time struggled with this evil practically in the single. Having taken more than 30 years back course for the struggle with drugs in sports, to the end of XX th century the IOC has managed to involve in it all participants of the Olympic movement. The concrete display of it became the realization of the World conference on drugs in sports and the creation of the World antidrug agency. The world conference on drugs in sports has passed in Lausanne from February 2nd till February 4th, 1999th. More than 600 representatives of the international Olympic and sports movement have taken part in it. The result of work of the conference became the Lausanne declaration about the drugs in sports, in which the most basic rules of six sections have found reflection. The further progress in struggle with drugs depends on in what measure all interested parties will carry out the obligations undertaken by them.
