The state educational standard of the highest sports education contains the requirements to a bachelor having the culture of health formed on the basis of medical-biological, psycho-pedagogical, valeological knowledge and skills. The traditional approach in education is directed on the actualization of cognitive and gnostic activity of the students and does not mention the value sphere of their consciousness. The concept of the valeological education and the psycho-pedagogical system of teaching of the valeology offered by the authors is constructed on the logically proved sequence of the study of special subjects and kinds of practice, the expedient combination of traditional and nonconventional means and forms of training with the conducting role of active methods during teaching of the valeology. The developed system organization of the valeological education in sports universities allows the positive influence on the value orientation of students, to form the complete representation about the health, giving back a priority to the healthy lifestyle and physical culture of a personality.
