    The problem of functional infringements of the supporting-motoring apparatus (SMA) in young athletes is so urgent, as well as in children who have been not connected with an active muscular activity. The authors carried out the special research, with the basic purpose to study the frequency of the inconsistency of the connective tissue revealing, and the functional infringements of the SMA in young athletes, specializing in various kinds of sports also. 243 athletes aged 6-16 specializing in the various kinds of sports (basketball - volleyball (n=45), gymnastics (n=45), martial arts (n=29), running (n=44), navigation (n=42) and football (n=38)) have taken part in the investigation. The estimation of the situation of the backbone in the sagittal and the frontal planes was carried out by the traditional way. The results of the research convincingly show, that the individual features of the development of the connective tissue, and also the functional changes of the SMA are one of the major problems of the childrens sports medicine.
