    The adaptive physical culture is rather young and quickly progressing direction of social practice in physical culture area. The system of the training, the improvement of professional skill and the retraining of a personnel is capable to realize effectily the most powerful potential of the adaptive physical culture in the decision of problems of the complex rehabilitation and the social integration of invalids and persons with deviations in the state of ones health, is the major component of the infrastructure necessary for the given category of the population of our country. It is made much for the formation of the harmonious system of the preparation of specialists of the various qualifications on the adaptive physical culture, what considerably actualized the problem of the improvement of the professional skill and the retraining of the personnel in this field of activity in the last five years. The experience of the faculty of the adaptive physical culture of P. F. Lesgaft's SPbSAPC shows, that in the modern conditions it is necessary as much as possible to expand the area of educational services in the system of the improvement of the professional skill and the retraining of the personnel to aspire to the account of the real needs and the opportunities of the future consumers of these services.
