    The process of the optimization of the system of the improvement of specialists professional skill in the area of physical culture and sports demands all-round studying features of its organization and the conditions of its realization. It is known, that there cannot be the effective system of the improvement of their professional skill without the active, interested position of the main participants of this process. The author investigated the position and the specialists attitude to the problem of the increase of the professional qualification. The leading teachers, time successfully working in the systems of the improvement of the professional skill of the academy for the long acted as specialists. The positive attitude of students to the process of the increase of the qualification is revealed. The most significant motives of the improvement of the professional skill are acknowledged. The reasons preventing the physical culture and sports specialists in to raise their qualification are also acknowledged.
