The purpose of the study was to consider the process of stage-to-stage changes of the behaviour connected to familiarizing of students of unathletelike faculty to regular occupations by physical culture within the framework of the standard academic program. There 76 students (including 42 young men and 34 girls) were surveyed. The questionnaire was shown, that 14% of young men and 20% of girls are not engaged in physical exercises independently (the stage of prereflection); 36% of young men and 21% of girls are going to engage in physical exercises independently in the nearest 6 months (the stage of reflection); 19% of young men and 29% of girls are engaged in physical exercises independently irregularly within less half-year (the preparing stage); 21% of those and others carry out physical exercises independently regularly less than 6 months (the stage of action); 12% of young men and 9% of girls regularly are engaged in physical exercises independently within more half-year (the stage of regular training). The intention to stop occupations feels 37%, the unpleasant feelings feel 10% and can not allocate time for physical exercises independently 26,5% of students. Self-efficiency grows up to the stage of action, and then is reduced at the stage of regular training instead of expected increase. This fact is not coordinated to the literary data received in other climatic areas and demands additional studying and an explanation
