    The purpose of the research was to determine the ways of the improvement of the quality of the preparedness of specialists for work in the area of physical culture and sports. The control parameters of the quality of the preparedness of the specialists were the data of the "Diagnostic questionnaire of self-identification" (DQSI). The following approaches to the improvement of the quality of the preparedness of specialists to their self-realization in the professional work are necessary to apply: 1) the monitoring of the development of the professional abilities, professionally important qualities, the individual style of an activity (with the application of the psychological tests); 2) the self-estimation by students of the potential capabilities for the work on the chosen specialty; 3) The application of DQSI in the future professional work. The authors have developed this questionnaire for the students of the specialty "physical culture and sports". The work in the area of physical culture and sports has many various specializations. This questionnaire will help to choose what will allow the highest self-realization in a professional work.
