The nutrition of young athletes can be understood as the process where many components are important: the physiological and biochemical mechanisms of food digestion; hygienic and sanitary (ecological) specifications; varying needs and norms of nutrition depending on kinds of sports, stages of training and competitions, growth and development; psychological, behavioral reactions; questions of ethics and an aesthetics; a cultural and information inhabitancy and, at last, social and economic conditions. The distribution and application of special nutrition, biologically active additives is caused not only physiological or biochemical aspects, but also social, economic and information changes of environment and the market of food.
