    The problems of the modernization of the Russian education put forward the new requirements to the system of the physical education in the comprehensive school. But it is difficult to solve tasks of the physical education of the young generation within the framework of the traditional system. The authors offer the innovational system of sports focused physical education at school. The sociological researches carried out by the authors prove the legitimacy of the sportization of the physical education. They undertake the attempt of the approbation of the new technology of the realization of sports focused physical education within the framework of the municipal educational system in Tchajkovski town. This pedagogical experiment was begun in September 2001. Its idea consists in the association of material-sports base and the personnel resource of comprehensive schools of the town. The experiment joined six comprehensive schools. After the realization of pilot research three schools were involved in experiment. The first results of this experiment confirm the unique opportunities of sports focused physical education for the formation and strengthening of their physical and moral health on the basis of the growth of the level of their sports erudition and successful socialization.
