    There are more than 130 highest educational institutions training the staff for the area of tourism in the Russian Federation today. The basic difference of the educational standard, offered by Russian state university of physical culture, sports and tourism and authorized by Ministry of education of the Russian Federation on the specialty 022 400 - "Recreation and sports tourism" consists in the system stated complex of disciplines which means and methods of recreation, tourism and studies of local lore provide the formation of the knowledge, skills of the professional work in the new subject of work - "Social-mental and physical health of a personality in the area of recreation and tourism". The need for specialists in recreation and sports tourism on Russian and world labour markets is great and in the process of the improvement of the welfare of our society and the improvement of the quality of life of the population it will be increased constantly.
