    The authors have carried out the interrogation of the experts in the area of the highest sports education. The analysis of results of this interrogation is presented in the article. The experts have offered to expand the directions of the training and the spectrum of specialties, presented at the Russian state university of physical culture, sports and tourism. The directions are: dietology, sports medicine, preschool physical culture, sports psychology, sports training, refereeing in sports. The specialties are: the coach, the manager on physical culture, the manager of the organization, the military-applied physical training, the improving-rehabilitation physical culture, methods of the prolonging physical education, sports training, the technology of sports activity, the base physical culture, the physical recreation and sports tourism.
