    The purpose of the research was to promote the formation of professional skills through the independent creative search of a student. The research was carried out in September, 2002 - April, 2003. Five educational groups (25 students each) of the second year of training participated as examinees. There control of 50 people and experimental of 75 people groups were made. The system of training in control group was carried out with the use of the explanatory-illustrative and reproductive methods of training. In experimental group the system of teaching was carried out with the use of the technology of projects. The experiment has shown, that the technology of projects is one of the effective approaches to solve the tasks of knowledge and practical skills' formation through the independent search of a student.
