    In opinion of the author, the transition to principles of the education of the university type is expedient and effective. The author offers to change the approach to the concept "professional preparedness" of the sports teacher, by providing of inclusion research activity in the contents of his preparedness. The "University" system of training of graduates of sports higher schools demands the transition from a trainee to an educational principle of the construction of educational process. The correction of curricula for the logical combination of principles of training for specialization and to scientific and pedagogical activity on the base of "outstripping training" is required accordingly: the concrete discipline in the beginning accustoms "totally" to a general plan, and specialized in the further educational activity.
