The authors undertake the attempt to reveal the essence structure and the content of space of physical culture and sports. The understanding of the concept "space of physical culture and sports" in the context of individually and socially organized life of a personality allows to find out the social properties of space which influence the character of people's behaviour, their lifestyle. "Tissue" of the space of physical culture and sports, its physical and social filling provide variety of human relations in society. These are relations between genders, ethnic, interethnic, political relations, relations of authority, economic relations, ecological, interpersonal relations etc. The further analysis of the contents of all structural components of space of physical culture and space of sports will allow to reveal the forming opportunities of each of them to determine their strong and weak sides and also to plan the prospects and the ways of development.
