    The quiz of 186 students of Ural state academy of physical culture was carried out with the purpose of the revealing of the preparedness of students for work by Olympic education of pupils. The results of the researches revealed the insufficiency and the one sidedness of respondents' knowledge. Students are well informed on the history of Olympic games and Olympic movement, about results of performances of sportsman, especially in specializing kinds of sports. But on the questions concerning Olympism they have a low level of knowledge. The analysis of finding has shown, that the pedagogical correction requires both knowledge of pupils, and knowledge of students-probationers.
