    The aspiration to optimize educational space in the regions of Russia distinctly makes active the integration processes in the education system. the decision of the government of the Russian Federation on the creation of university complexes on the basis of large high schools became duly. Thus their three models are offered: university districts, the university complexes as legal persons, and the association of legal persons. The experience of Kuban state university of physical culture, sports and tourism testifies to the efficiency of integration of secondary and higher vocational training in the sphere of physical culture and sports in conditions of a regional educational complex. The structure of this university complex is described in the article.
