    The purpose of research was the studying of the age dynamics of the development of mental processes of 3-6-year-old children, bringing up in the gymnasium, and revealing of an opportunity of purposeful use of means of physical training for the optimization of these processes and training of a child for studying at school. In total it 175 persons: 81 - experimental and 94 - control groups are examined. As the control they studied the age parameters of mental development of children of other kindergartens. During the research the author developed the system of diagnostic cuts of cognitive activity of the pupils, including tests for an estimation of the level of development of perception, figurative and logic thinking, memory, speech. The psychological preparedness of a child for school was considered from the position of the intellectual, motivational and emotional - social preparedness. The studying of features of the age dynamics of the development of mental processes allows to carry out the individual - diifferentiated approach to the development and training of a child.
