    The purpose this paper was the definition of the prevalence of smoking and alcohol use, attitude to drugs among senior pupils and entrants in Moscow. The material for the research was the data of anonymous questionnaires filled by 190 young men and 134 girls (1984-1987) - pupils of high school, sports school and entrants of the Russian state university of physical education, sports and tourism. It was found out, that sports are accompanied by smaller prevalence of smoking and smaller intensity of alcohol use. The nearest environment of young men and girls, including members of their families, plays the big role in junction of this age persons with smoking and alcohol. The big prevalence of drugs users in the environment of questioned persons (up to 50 %) and low efficiency of antidrug propagation was marked by the authors.
