    Nowadays the question on the health of the nation is as a question of it's survival. That is why the authors have paid the attention to the problem " music and health ". They consider it in a historical prospect, resulting the examples of researches of this problem by the known scientists. According to the author's opinion, the attention of the scientists in the field of sports: teachers, and physiologists - should be directed to the further profound development of this necessary and actual problem for sports and the population.
