    The purpose of the research was to define a place of education in the field of physical culture in the space of pedagogical anthropology, to understand the essence of its phenomena and processes through features of their interrelation and interference. The Authors investigated "the Concept of the development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation for the period till 2005". According to their opinion, the continuity of physical training and education of various age groups of population is a strategically important element of the state policy reflected in the concept. According to the authors opinion, the formation of the system of the general continuous education in the field of physical culture in in compliance with " the Concept of the development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation for the period till 2005 " will allow to change the educational situation in Russia and to come out to the qualitatively new level of education of the physically and mentally healthy growing up generation.
