    The Subject of this research was the intellectual elite. In the given question the author considers the aspects of formation of elite and conditions which promote this. According to the authors opinion,The Development of the idea of elite university is the basic condition of the formation of the intellectual elite. The intellectual elite applies for the certain and exclusive lifestyle already because of it's purpose. In the research the author adheres to the positive characteristics of the given social group, therefore, developing the model of life of the individual at the supreme step of intellectual field, emphasizes the positive attributes promoting the achievement of high status of scientists. Studying of the quality of life, lifestyle of the intellectual elite in the field of physical culture allows to investigate the model of life, to analyse the ideological representations and the daily practice of the given social group.
