    The purpose of research was to reveal the motivational-demand sphere of the participants of sports-entertaining actions-shows in conditions of the city during streetball competitions. Questionnaire was carried out in 2001-2003 during sports-entertaining actions-shows in Krasnodar during the streetball competitions. 109 14-21 year-old persons took part in the questioning - the representatives of the learning youth of general educational, average special and higher educational institutions. In the sample 69 men (63,3 %) and 40 women (36,7 %) are submitted. The authors stated, that the realization of streetball competitions promotes the propagation of basketball and to attraction of the youth to regular occupations of physical culture and sports.
