    The imitating modelling can serve as effective means of individual forecasting of sports specialization of students. The research was carried out in The Russian state I.M. Gubkin's university of oil and gas with the use of the automated complex of the psychophysical control "Psychomat-99". The inspection was passed by 91 person of 18 - 21 years - members of sports teams of the university: on improving aerobics, sambo-wrestling, football, basketball, volleyball, navigation, track and field athletics (sprint), ski races. The sports specialization assumes a various structure of the psychophysical parameters (PPP) of a person. 8 kinds of sports investigated by the author on the basis of structure PPP can be united in 7 various classes (groups): according to the structure PPP basketball and volleyball concern to one class. The Imitating modelling of the specialized structure of mental processes, mental conditions also is mental properties of the person of athlete (PPP) important for sport can be effectively used at sports selection for the forecast of a sports specialization.
