    The essence of the discovery of the authors described in the article, is, that for the first time they found out the phenomenon of functioning of heart of the person as 5-chamber system that had been unknown before (the right and left auricles, right and left ventricles, a pericardial cavity), that provides three main functions of the heart activity - the delivery (the movement of blood from auricles in the ventricles), the function of expulsion (the movement of blood to the vascular system by the ventricles) and soaking up (filling of auricles and ventricles with blood during the whole intimate cycle due to the pressure below the atmospheric one in the tight pericardial cavitiy). This discovery makes global changes to the theory of intimate activity, giving the opportunities for more effective diagnosing, treatment, surgical intervention, preventive maintenance of heart diseases.
