    The transition to the educational standards of the third generation is closely connected with the entry of Russia in the European educational space, therefore the Russian reforms in higher education are necessary for correlating to the realities of the all-European education system. Now in St.-Petersburg state P.F. Lesgaft's university of physical culture, the two-level system of training "bachelor and master" is already introduced, with the awarding of the qualification of a specialist (the transition from the system "bachelor and master - scientist" to the qualification "bachelor and master - specialist"), as the European countries are going to do. Thus it is possible to assert, that first steps in the integration of the higher sports education into the all-European system of higher education has already been made.
