    The purpose of the work was the research of the features of the physical development of the pupils in the age of 8 and 13 from high schools of Tchaikovsky town of the Perm area in the interval from 1985 to 2005 The features of this development were simultaneously studied at the teenagers engaged in physical exercises according to the programs of the sports oriented physical education. Modern teenagers authentically concede to the coevals, surveyed two decades ago, on the level of development of physical metrical parameters: carpal dynamometry and lung capacity, it is a consequence of hypodynamia and the influence of adverse factors of the environment. The teenagers engaged within two years in the programs of the sports oriented physical education, have the same distinctive features of physical development which are revealed at the pupils engaged in the standard program of physical education.
