    The carried out comparative analysis of the parameters of the reaction of functional systems of the tested children for the standard physical loadings of mentally retarded children and teenagers and their coevals, having no deviations in mental development, has revealed the general tendency to the advantage of the last ones. In the opinion of the authors, the age dynamics of the somatic parameters describing the investigated features of physical development of the examinees, in their main components conforms to the known general laws of ontogenesis of the movements of a person. The periods of accelerations and stagnations in the development of single parameters of somatic revealed during the research testify to it. In the course of the experiment there has been confirmed the opportunity of creation and realization of a new pedagogical technology providing the essential increase of efficiency of physical education of mentally retarded children, studying at correctional school.
