    In the opinion of the author, the hobby of the teachers of physical education of oriental psychophysical practices is hasty and is more likely based on emotions and fashion, than on a strict scientific approach. Today in psychiatry there is introduced the concept of "cult trauma" which is understood as the complex of influences used in destructive cults and directed on the change of consciousness of an individual. Thus, the psychological, pedagogical, social and medical arguments given in the article allow the author to concern skeptically the attempts of the introduction of oriental psychophysical methods in practice of the Russian physical education. Thus the author does not exclude an opportunity of borrowing the motor-technical elements of the oriental systems of physical perfection.
