The index may be used as benchmark for forming group of equally prepaired students and for suggesting driving practice plan for a group. The questionnaire includes 35 questions, divided into three blocks: social survey, basic rider and physical self-rating, anti-crash skills. The suggested rating of the questions gives more weight in the Index to anti-crash skills block. The survey was held on two motorcycle policemen groups A and B (23 and 21 persons to take the course). The primary analysis revealed 4 officers in the group A, who evaluated more than two basic physical skills with a rating of 2 (from 5). The counted (by summing individual indexes) Index estimated readiness is 60% for group A and 50% for group B. By blocks: social portrait - 86 and 80, basic physical self-rating - 71 and 65, anti-crash skills - 52 and 38 percent. Thus the professional skills survey can be used for comparing groups where drivers had taken similar physical and driving skill programs.
