The article provides many years of experience teaching the subject "Sports medicine" for University students. Currently in the world, including in our country, educational process in universities is based on the Bologna agreement providing for a two-level structure of higher education, transforming the traditional subject system of education. In higher education of our country, in total time of labor, 70-80% are required courses and only 30-20% of the time budget allocated to subjects chosen by students, whereas in the European system of education, these proportions reverse.
