The article presents the views of the author on the possible prospects of using the methods of engineering ergonomics in the mountain-skiing sport. The motor actions of athlete - the Alpine skier on the snowy slope in the form of functioning of the mono-ergatic system "the sportsman - technic tool" for achievement the stated goals are examined. It is known that the qualitative mountain-skiing stock is of great importance for successful specific motor activity of the athlete, however in the analysis of this ergonomic system it appears that the person of the athlete is not its auxiliary part, and on the contrary, the technical device is included in conscious activity of the person-operator. From the told follows that effective interaction of people - operator system with systems "mountain-skiing slope" and "mountain-skiing stock" is possible only under implementation of certain requirements which in practice of physical culture and sport are designated as "Special physical (impellent, motor) readiness of the athlete".
