    The purpose of this paper was to consider the ways of modernization, in the contemporary system of the specialists'on physical culture and sport training. The author analyzes the history of various concepts development and the ideas' evolution in connection with the problem of education. He considers the main tendencies in the area of education: the global tendency to transformation of the principal paradigm in education; the domestic changing of the education towards the integration into the worlds culture; the restoration and development of the domestic traditions of education. The most essential resource of sports specialists training's modernization the author sees in taking into consideration the general social and educational context of its development and in determination, the most important points containing the maximal potential of the growth.
