    The authors conducted ideas concerning around the recreational specifics of resort business throughout the article. It is well known that resorts, especially ones possessing thermal water sources, mountain healing air, healing greases or so on can effectively cure different kinds of diseases. Resorts are very good also for those patients who are in their rehabilitative or post-crisis periods. The important point of this article states in the analysis of resort business's recreational essence. The authors noted, that recreational work should be organized more effectively in Russia nowadays. According to their opinions, an active recreation can attract more clients to resorts and help to nation's health improvement.
